This is Michelle Bayh, the family historian. When I began to finish the research on the Bayh's to the late 1600's, I contact Birch again. I mailed him an entire book of information once complete and he was thrilled, saying he'd share with all soon. He & Kitty helped me with kind words after my husband's death in 2015. He & Kitty helped me with kind words after my husband's death in 2015. To me Birch was simply family, he was kind, funny & gave great advice. We shared a few personal stories & I will miss our talks. To all the family, words alone will offer some comfort, but know I am keeping all of you in my heart & prayers. This past Sunday at church I had Birch's name read at the service so you are all getting extra prayers of support. My only regret is that I had just discovered more family info & did not get to mail it in time. Via fun phone calls I talked to both Birch & Kitty in regards to the research I had done, and to finish the research off, I used Ancestry to help with the missing link, then went back to the late 1600's. Birch was so excited to learn the history was complete. He called me after he had read it & was amazed by all the details. Later I will send the current info I have found to Kitty for the family, but will wait a respectful time. Our mutual ancestor was Christopher Bayh, my great-great-grand father Love & prayers always, Michelle Bayh" - Michelle Bayh (Cypress, CA)
