May 21, 2019 "To the students I meet every day, to the adults who pass through my life, my message will be the same: "Be like Kendrick." He represents everything that is good in our youth. He embodied the qualities of leadership, in multiples. Bless his family, bless his friends and classmates, and bless his school. You have been in the company of a great one." - Rebecca Burke (Franklin, TN)
May 20, 2019 "To the family and friends of Kendrick:
Please accept my heart felt condolences. I am very sorry to hear the loss of a young man who saved the lives of others. May God, the Father who is the Hearer of Prayer and tender mercies continue to comfort you every day in the time of sorrow." - Cheryl Auflick (MYRTLE BEACH, SC)
May 20, 2019 "This young man made the ultimate sacrifice, he gave his life to save others❣. Bless him dear lord and his parents, family the and the friends that obviously we're so very important to him. I'm quite certain that Kendrick valued life almost to a fault. I'm not sure that he even had time to think that he may die fighting for this cause! He just "did it!". Like on 911 when the people on the plane said "Let's Roll!!!". These heroes should have a special place up in heaven. Talk about a selfless act!! I hope they are all remembered forever. They changed the outcomes of some very serious situations and history!!! My heart aches for those they left behind, but I have great admiration for our heroes!!! I honestly do not know if I could have done the same thing ame, I can only hope I would have. God Bless, warmly, JoAnn Myrvold, Denver, CO." - JoAnn Myrvold (Denver, CO)
May 20, 2019 "Such as sweet face and brave beyond his years! My only son passed away unexpectedly 3 years ago. I pray for the family and humbly suggest they contact The Compassionate Friends when they're ready. They are a wonderful organization with meeting places throughout the Denver area. I pray that with time your pain will ease. God bless you." - Bonnie Gonzales (Elizabeth, CO)
May 17, 2019 "From a brother Knight who grew up in the Knights just like you may you Rest in Peace. You truly are a hero. " - Preston Martinez (Commerce City, CO)
