Donald L. "Duke " Heller Obituary

Donald L. "Duke" Heller age 86 of Bensalem, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday August 25, 2014. A resident of Bensalem for 50 years. Duke was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of WWII. He was a retired tracker trailer operator with Preston "151" Line for 35 years and a member of the Teamsters Local #470 for 40 years. He was very devoted to Our Lady of Fatima Church and also a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Sr. Citizens. Duke loved bowling, golfing and telling jokes and also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 51 years, Elizabeth (nee Binns) Heller. He is also survived by his devoted children; Eileen J. Swenson (William), Richard S. Cordes (fiancé Penny) and Robert J. Cordes (Lori). Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 followed by his Funeral mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials in Donald's name may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church 1731 Hulmeville Road Bensalem, PA 19020 or Holy Redeemer Hospice 1648 Huntingdon Valley Pike Meadowbrook, PA 19046
