Gerard L. Jeannotte, 79, of North Attleboro died Monday, December 23, 2013 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Dorolyn (McGowan) Jeannotte.
Born May 3, 1934 in Attleboro, he was a son of the late Gerard and Rose (Rapineau) Jeannotte.
Gerard lived much of his life in Plainville and owned a summer home in Eastham for many years. He has been a resident of North Attleboro for the past 20 years.
He was a graduate of Attleboro High School and received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.
He worked for over 30 years in sales at the Foxboro Company before retiring.
Gerard was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He loved music, playing pool and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his son Thomas Jeannotte and his wife Darlene Bochman of North Attleboro and five nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 28 from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Martha's Church, 227 South Street (Route 1A), Plainville immediately following the visiting hours at 12 noon. Burial will be at a later date in Shepardville Cemetery, Plainville.
