Mr. Eastman passed away Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina at the age of 83. Harold was born March 6, 1930 in Grand Ledge, Michigan the son of Arthur Lavern and Beatrice Jeanette (Holton) Eastman. He was a member of the Free Union Baptist Church in North Carolina,a member of the Sunfield Lodge #455 F. & A.M., also a veteran of the United States Air Force. Harold formerly worked at Lunberg Screw Products in Lansing, and later retired from TRW as a machinist in North Carolina. He loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, flying model air planes and ultra lights, camping, gardening, canning, and square dancing. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Manning) Eastman, son, John Harold Eastman, sister, Nancy and her husband Roger Wells. Surviving are his children, William Lavern (Janet) Eastman of Nashville, and Margaret (Robert) Cade of Lapeer, MI, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, brother Arlo and wife Dolna Eastman. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. - Wednesday May 8, 2013 at the Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes-Fisher Chapel, Sunfield, MI with Rev. Randy Carpenter officiating. Visitation with viewing will be held on Tuesday May 7, 2013 from 2-5 P.M. at the funeral home.
