Kenneth George Wolf Jr. Kenneth George Wolf Jr. of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Chico, California, and Lakeside, Richmond, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, after a dignified and courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his devoted wife and best friend, Karen; his sister, Jean Groome and husband, Melvin, of Louisa; his brother, Jim Wolf and wife, Gail, of Powhatan; his son, Karl Harvey of Little Rock, Arkansas; his daughter, Carlie Rice and her husband, Josh, of Chico, California, and their children, Kaleb, Adynn and Avah; and his step-daughter, Lynn Halterman, of Englewood, Colorado; along with a niece, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was born on December 16, 1943, to Kenneth and Georgie Sanders Wolf in Richmond, Virginia. Ken was an Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He retired from California State University at Chico. He was a warm, caring and loving son, husband, father, brother, and friend who always put others before himself. His life-long hobby and passion was restoring vintage cars, especially 1955 Chevrolets. Do not weep for me, for as long as there are Harley Davidson motorcycles roaring into the sunset and classic Chevys going down the boulevard, I'll always be alive. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, www.pancan.org
or Augusta Health Hospice of The Shenandoah, 64 Sports Medicine Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939.
