Alfred J. Cupps Alfred J. Cupps, 85, of Butler died Tuesday morning at the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit in Butler. Born Aug, 25, 1927, in Butler, he was the son of the late Harry E. and Rose (McLaughlin) Cupps. He retired from the Melt Shop at Armco Steel Plant in 1989 after 40 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. He was also a life member of the Elks Fraternal Organization. He was an avid golfer and gardener. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army....
