LINCOLNTON - James William Culbertson, 69, passed away May 20, 2013, at his home. He was born Aug. 24, 1943, in Tazwell, Va., son of the late Elbert Charles and Lydia Davis Culbertson. Mr. Culbertson was a U.S. Army veteran. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Oakley McCoy.
