BARDEN, Linwood W., 96, formerly of Richmond, died November 24, 2012 in Massachusetts with his daughter and son-in-law. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Edna Barden. He is survived by his daughter, Carol McNeil and her husband, Michael; two grandchildren, Joseph and Ari Vernine; one great-granddaughter, Grace, who made his face light up; and many other loving family and friends. He worked his entire life at DuPont, retiring after 45 years of service. He was affectionately known to many as "HONEY." He was an Army veteran of WWII. A funeral ceremony will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road. Family to receive friends one hour prior to ceremony. Interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.
