Shade Edward Banks Obituary

Shade Edward Banks, Jr. Shade Edward Banks, Jr. of Nokesville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Banks was born September 19, 1942 in Pound, Virginia, son of the late Shade E. Banks, Sr. and Dollie (Herndon) Banks. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Nokesville, and a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was a long distance truck driver for 20 years. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda G. Banks; two sons, Jason Banks of Oakton, Virginia and Jonathan Corey Banks of Woodbridge, Virginia; one daughter, Michelle Banks Carder and husband Trip; two sisters, Greta Boggs and husband Benny of Pound, Virginia and Pam Elswick and husband Danny of Neon, Kentucky; one brother, Jimmy Banks of Burlington, Kansas; four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Beecher, Merrilee and Josiah Carder and mother-in-law, Rebble Hopkins of Nokesville, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Victory Baptist Church, 12650 Aden Road, Nokesville where funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday with Pastor Clinton Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas. Condolences may be sent to
