And for serving your country, I think you were a shade taller then my dad, I was honored to be able to find your website and send you a thank you and a few other emails.. you made the site feel like a home away from home. Blessings Sir, as long as tv shows can be seen You will not be forgotten, " - Cyn Ann Merrick (No Lawrence, NY)
August 22, 2019 "I'll always remember coming across Mr Arness' website in 2000. It was brand new, and I sent a quick email to cheer him on for being in cyberspace. I wasn't sure if the message would really make it to him. A few years later, I received a lovely request to include my email in his autobiography. The book was fascinating, giving insight into a humble, thoughtful man, truly appreciative of the opportunities he'd been given. A true member of the Greatest Generation. It was not surprising to me that upon his passing, he'd left a note for his fans, reiterating that appreciation. A class act. He made us all stand a little taller. " - Kim Round (Deerfield, NH)
August 21, 2019 "in memory of Jamess arness as I know as Marshall Matt Dillon I still watch the reruns of gun smoke every day I was born in 1961 and my dad watched the show and I grew up with the show was sad to hear that he passed he was a wonderful actor and will be truly missed RIP " - Jennie Castillo (Apopka, FL)
August 18, 2019 "I would love to see every single episode of Gunsmoke. I know it's close to 700 episodes and I have no way of finding out how to get to see all of them but I would sure love it if I could. I am one of their greatest fans. Makes me very sad to think about all of them being gone now." - Louise Weeks (New Port Richey, FL)
