"Our thoughts are with the family. My mother's best friend through childhood was Doc's neice Gail. I grew up listening to Doc played in our house, have played his music for my daughters and still have my favorites on my ipod today. My parents favorite memory was sitting in your family home when they were young newlyweds and listening to Doc and Merle play. We visited once when I was 12 and I can still remember the view of our beautiful country. You will be missed."
