February 25, 2016 "My Aunt Minnie Hall met Mr. Clay when he was only 7 years old and asked to sing on a program that she was promoting in Chicago, and he sang "When the Gates Swung Open" and even at that young age he was already a Super Star for the Lord. She is 93 but has fond memories of Mr. Clay and his beautiful voice and was so sad to hear of his passing. She sends her condolences to his family and all that loved him.
