WALKER, Joy Bromley, 64, of Chesterfield, Va., went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2013. She was surrounded by her adoring family. Joy leaves behind her beloved husband, Tom, of nearly 43 years; two sons, Brian of Raleigh, N.C., Brent of Chesterfield, Va.; and a daughter, Andrea of Long Beach, Calif. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jorie; four grandchildren, Molly Joy, Sarah, Henry and Flynn Walker; and a sister, Jean B. Watson of Collierville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her parents, JN and Edith Nell Bromley. Joy requested that no flowers be sent. Instead, memorials may be sent to Woodlake United Methodist Church, the American Cancer Society (Breast Cancer Research), or the Massey Cancer Center. The family would appreciate your remembrances and stories of Joy be left at Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Woodlake United Methodist Church, and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 11, at 12 noon at Woodlake United Methodist Church.
