Roger Royce Obituary

Royce, Roger age 70, of Reno, a devoted dad, loyal friend, adventurer and entrepreneur, passed away on September 14, 2013. He was the son of the late Leonard Royce and is survived by his mother Marci Royce, children Elizabeth and Joshua Royce, sister Carol Royce-Wilder (Dr. Kevin Kelly), former wife Linda Sharpe and many dear family and friends. A proud alumni of Blake School, Roger was a star football player and actor. He graduated from California State and built a successful career in the clothing industry. Roger then focused on the need for early detection of breast cancer missed by mammography. He co-founded and was President/COO of SonoCine, Inc., a medical technology company. Roger enjoyed sharing humorous stories and was the life of every party. He delighted in spending time with his thoughtful and caring children; skiing double blacks in the Rockies and Sierras; sharing ideas on love and relationships; feeding the wild horses with his adoring dog Little Bee; and helping others to achieve their dreams. We will always love and miss our Rog. A celebration of Roger's life will be held in Reno on October 13, 2013 and a Remembrance at Blake School, Hopkins on October 19, 2013 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Roger Royce Breast Cancer Awareness Memorial, c/o SonoCine, Inc., 8850 Terabyte Ct, Suite 1, Reno, NV 89521
