Both at the Riviera and then at the Alladin Hotel. She was hilarious! I remember laughing so hard, then bam, she took you right in to the next joke! She was an artist and a genius that gave back to the world through laughter. God Rest her soul!"

September 13, 2014 "Dear Melissa,
My deepest heartfelt condolences! My heart breaks for you and the sudden loss of your mother and best friend. I am a grown man and have adored your Mother secretly for years! I have watched your mother climb to the pinnacle of success and loved everything about her. I thought men shouldn't publicly admit to liking her but, she was my secret admiration. Now I find out it wasn't just me,the whole world loved her! I loved her sassy attitude, her look, her demeanor and thought she was just fabulous not great but fabulous! She was classy and sometimes crude all rolled into one. She put a smile on my face when I was down, made me laugh, when I wanted to cry. She will be missed and I hope you can sort through all of the good memories she left behind and smile again. She was not a woman, she was not a comedian she was a legacy that can never ever be duplicated! You should be very proud of her for all of her accomplishments and wear a smile on your face. Be proud, stand tall and most of all be thankful that god blessed you with such a wonderful and warm hearted mother. She will be forever missed for years to come and throughout eternity :(
My regrets," - Joe C (Chicago, IL)
