Ray Maness Floyd, 88, of Buchanan Dam, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Pflugerville, Texas. He was born on June 25, 1924, in Gonzales, Texas, to Alex and Martha (May) Floyd. Ray was married for more than 70 years to Loma (Hess) Floyd. An Army veteran of World War II, he received the Bronze Star Medal for valor while stationed overseas in Italy.
