"I remember going to the Laudermilk farm in Henager Ala with my grandfather to get our mules shoed. Didnt know for many yrs that Mr Laudermilk was Ira and Charlies Dad.
After moving to Wisconsin i didnt get back to Henager for a number of yrs. By then Charlie had moved his Museum to Manchester Murfreesboro area. I never got to meet either of the boys, But, Mr Laudermilk was a true Southern Gentleman.
I still enjoy listening to The Louvin Brothers songs and watching Charlie sing and interview on you tube. would have loved to have met him. The Music industry , friends family and fans will miss him , dearly."

"I was looking on the internet for Mr. louvin's music, and wanted to know more about him. I was so sorry to read of his passing. The country music world won't be the same without him. I will always love his music. Thank you Lord, for sharing him with us."

"I miss my dad more now than I did in January. He was and still is my hero, he never gave up even when it was near the end. He taught me to always tell the truth and don't be afraid of what people would think, and I have done that my whole life."
