June 29, 2015 "My sincere regards to the Brown family.
I moved to Nashville a young man in 1972. I wrote songs and Jim Ed was the first person to show me around and look after me, so to speak. He even called my mother to let her know I was safe and he'd keep and eye on me. His office was in the Faron Young building near music row in those days. He never stopped working at his craft and was always performing right up to the last after more than 60 years of doing just that. He will be missed." - John Dersham (Fort Payne, AL)
June 29, 2015 "I seen Jim Ed Brown a few times while I grew up in Rockvale TN When I left for the Air Force I also carry his music where ever I travel it was helpful My he rest in peace" - William Fields (St. Louis, MO)
June 27, 2015 "We were saddened to hear the loss of such a special man. Please know how very sorry we are.
