A Canadian reservist killed by enemy fire during an ambush in Afghanistan Tuesday has been identified as Cpl. Michael Starker, of the 15 Field Ambulance.

The incident occurred at around 11:45 a.m. local time during a foot patrol in the Pashmul region of the Afghanistan's Zhari district.
