Cpl. Shane Keating Obituary

A nation joins friends and family in mourning the loss of Cpl. Shane Keating, a member of the 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, based in Shilo, Man. He was one of the four Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan by a suicide bomber Monday grew up in Dalmeny, north of Saskatoon.

"We love Shane very much and we are proud of all that he has accomplished," Keating's mother, Judith Budd, said in a statement. :Shane was very proud of his service and believed in what he was doing."
