Remembering the life, death and legacy of firefighter Donald Reed
Donald Kirby Reed LUBBOCK-Donald Kirby Reed went home to be with our Lord on May 23, 2013. He was born March 27, 1939, in Avalon, Texas, to Grady & Ruth Reed. They moved to Lubbock when he was 16 and he graduated from Lubbock High School in 1957. After graduation he was in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1961, and was a Lubbock Fire Fighter for many years.
