Donald D. Pearsons Obituary

Pearsons, Donald D. of 70 Church Street, Lyndonville, VT passed away on Sunday September 12, 2004 at the age of 61 years. He was born on October 31, 1942 in East Burke, VT the son of the late Carroll S. and Rena (Gray) Pearsons. He served in the U.S. Army for eight years and graduated from the New England Institute of Anatomy and Mortuary Sciences in Boston, MA, Class of 1972.

He was a funeral director since 1972 and along with his wife, owned and operated the Pearsons Funeral Home in Lyndonville, VT. He was a member of the Lyndonville United Methodist Church and served on several of the church committees. He also served the town and community in many other ways.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel (Snelling) Pearsons of Lyndonville, VT. They were married on July 14, 1962; By his two sons: Todd Pearsons & Laurie Croteau of Lyndonville, VT, Sam & Kim Pearsons of Lyndonville, VT; By his five grandchildren: Jessica, Cody, Christopher and Caitlin Pearsons and Cheryl Willey; By three sisters: Alona & husband William Payette of St. Johnsbury, VT, Lois Weyrauch of Leesburg, FL, Elaine & husband Walter Hood of West Springfield, MA; By a Brother: Dale and wife Susie Pearsons of West Springfield, MA; By his mother-in-law: Lillian Snelling of Lyndonville, VT; By his sister- and brother-in-law: Donna & Charles Freeman of Asheboro, NC and Lucey & Ronald Trembley of Sutton, VT. Don was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at Pearsons Funeral Home on Friday September 17, 2004 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Memorial services will be held on Saturday September 18, 2004 at the United Methodist Church in Lyndonville, VT at 9:30 AM.
