Guest Book Highlights

June 05, 2013 "At the age of 19 in 1973, I was a member of Today's Children, a singing group that toured with Doc Severinsen and The Tonight Show Band under the moniker The Now Generation Brass. Ed was of course our super star drummer. Always the consummate professional, he was absolutely dazzling on stage.

I continued with a music career for 20 years after and worked with lots of drummers as a result, but Ed was always the man - the one I would never forget.

Ed knew when to take the spotlight and be the focus of attention, but also knew how to play as a member of the band. He wasn't run by his ego. It was a valuable lesson for a kid like me, who was just getting started.

It was an honor and a privilege to have worked with him.

My sympathies and best wishes to his family and friends.

My God smile on his soul for all the joy he brought into this world.
