By the time of the 1953 armistice, 1.9 million Americans had served in the conflict – and 37,000 of them never came home. David G. Bramlett Nov. 14, 1931 - June 30, 2015 MISHAWAKA - David G. Bramlett, age 83, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015, in his home. Dave was born November 14, 1931, in Springfield, Illinois, to the late George and Hazel Bramlett. Following his graduation from High School, Dave enlisted in the US Army where he served honorably during the Korean War Era. On June 25, 1954, he married Roberta J. Sicks in Alexandria, Virginia.
