By the time of the 1953 armistice, 1.9 million Americans had served in the conflict – and 37,000 of them never came home. Francis A. Tkacik Francis A. Tkacik, 89, of Blakeslee, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, in St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marie J.
