John N. Bowes, age 85, passed away peacefully, June 16, 2013. Born in Boston, he grew up in Neponset and was a proud member of St. Ann Parish Band. A Milton resident for many years, he most recently resided in Quincy. Mr. Bowes was a graduate of UNH and a member of the UNH Football Hall of Fame, holding the record for most touchdowns in a season from 1951 to 1975.
