Johnny Nathaniel Tudor Obituary

Johnny Nathaniel Tudor Johnny Nathaniel Tudor, 86, of Lake Monticello, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at a local hospital. He was born on July 2, 1926, in Lacrosse, the son of the late John B. and Elva Harris Tudor. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Samuel Tudor and James Tudor. Johnny served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was a veteran of foreign affairs. Following his Honorable Discharge from the Marine Corps, he worked for the C&O and CSX railroads as an engineer and retired after 40 years of service. After retirement he and his wife Lelia lived in Ocala, Florida. John loved boating, camping and fishing; but his favorite sport was baseball. He spent many hours with family at baseball games at "The Diamond" Stadium. He was a member of Rehobath Methodist Church in Lacrosse. Johnny is survived by his loving wife, Lelia Marie White Tudor; three stepchildren, Douglas White and Rebecca White of Richmond and Thomas White of Summerville, South Carolina; three step grandchildren, Donavan, Elizabeth, and John White of Summerville, South Carolina; a son, Linwood Tudor; a daughter, Donna Cerbo; a granddaughter, Tristen Cerbo; three sisters, Helen Tudor, Norma McEnerney, and Joyce Tudor, all of Richmond; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Tudor of Richmond. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Sidney Craig officiating. Interment will follow at Monticello Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
