Kenneth Joseph Johnson Obituary

Kenneth Joseph Johnson

Kenneth Joseph Johnson was a man who loved to laugh.

He was born in 1963 to George and Shirley Johnson. He grew up in Strafford, Pennsylvania. In 1982, he graduated from Parris Island and spent six years serving our great country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Ken founded JLM, Johnson Landscape Management in Strafford and later moved the business to Ivy, Virginia.

Ken was an avid mountain biker, skier and kayaker; was passionate about enjoying life with family and friends; Philadelphia sports; gardening and photography. Ken loved to hike with his wife and their dogs. He is survived by his wife, Diane of 23 years; his sister, Suzanne Braun; his brothers, Michael Johnson and Daniel Roscioli; several wonderful nieces and nephews; more than a few crazy pets; and numerous lifelong friends whom he truly considered family. Any memorial contributions to the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA in honor of Ken's life would be greatly appreciated.

All are welcome to join a celebration of Ken's life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Wayne Presbyterian Church in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
