WHEELER, R. Kenneth "Ken," of North Chesterfield, passed away on June 22, 2013, following a brief illness. He was born in Washington, D.C. to Nathaniel Dudley Wheeler and Ruth Lee Matthews Wheeler. He is survived by his loving wife, Christine K. Wheeler; daughters, Jennifer W. McEntire of North Carolina and Ruth W. Clark of Florida; and a sister, Catherine W. Jones of California. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aubrey. Ken is also survived by his three beloved dogs, Dee Dee (Daddy's girl), Casey and Willy; and many wonderful friends and family. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and achieved the rank of captain. He was a graduate of the University of Richmond and the T.C. Williams School of Law and a retired partner with the law firm of Hunton & Williams. Ken was an avid fan of the Richmond Spiders, specifically football and basketball. His remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Sts.
