PAUL R. RHODES, 85 FREEPORT - Paul R. Rhodes, 85, of Freeport passed away Monday, June 17, 2013, in Freeport. He was born on Feb. 1, 1928, in Lee County, IL, the youngest of ten children of Frank and Mabel (Phillips) Rhodes. Paul married Elizabeth A. Luna on Sept. 19, 1953, at St. James Catholic Church in Rockford. He was a retired meat cutter, working for many years at The National Tea Co.
