RAY HODGE Obituary

HODGE, Mr. Ray E., 85, of Sandston, died Monday, March 11, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Gloria Milby Hodge; and sons, Elbert Ray Hodge Jr. and Thomas W. Hodge. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda H. Fletcher and husband, Daniel; wife of 19 years, Penny Cannon Hodge; brother, Fred Hodge; daughters-in-law, Jean Hodge and Carolyn Hodge; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was retired from James River Building Supply Company. Mr. Hodge was a member of the Sandston Loyal Order of Moose. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where services will be held Friday, March 15, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060, or the American Diabetes Foundation, 4335 Cox Rd., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
