Phillips , George George Edward Phillips of Rockford, MI passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the age of 79 years. George was born to George Sr. and Blanche (Clark) Phillips in Grand Rapids, MI on September 20, 1938. He grew up in Grand Rapids and upon graduation from Union High School in 1956, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served for 7 years.
