Alvin H. McMillan, (Mac) 79, a resident of Las Cruces, N.M. passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013. He was born Jan. 7, 1934 in O'Donnell, Texas to Evelyn (Lawler) and Curtis McMillan. Mac graduated from Deming High School in 1951. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War from 1951-54. For his service he received the China Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal (Two Stars), and the United Nations Service Medal.
