Mr. Clarence Yates Laney, 89, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Lancaster Convalescent Center. He was born September 18, 1923, in Union County, N.C. and was a son of the late Benjamin Oscar Laney and Beattie Manilla Montgomery Laney. He was the husband of the late Elsie Hough Laney. Mr. Laney was a retired salesman and manager for the Coca–Cola company and attended Hopewell United Methodist Church.
