JOHNSON, Cecelia Lee, age 55, of Lenoir City, passed away on May 11, 2013 at home surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer. She retired in 2012 from the Department of Defense as a Human Resources Manager. She was also a proud disabled veteran of the United States Army. She was born March 6, 1958 in Iwakuni, Japan, where her father, Owen David Ross, was serving in the United States Navy. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Christopher Johnson; her son, Issac Johnson and wife, Chandra, of Lenoir City; and their two children, Audrey and Mason, who were the loves of her life; parents, Owen David Ross and wife, Ruby, of Loudon, and Sandra Court Rosenberg of Huntington Beach, Calif.; sisters, Rebecca Mabry and husband, Eric, of Trabuco Canyon, Calif., Elizabeth Braukmann and husband, William, of Hillsboro, Ore., Jennifer Carlson of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Porsche Shantz of Lenoir City; brothers, David Matthew Ross and wife, Carla, of Lenoir City, and Ray Shantz and wife, Beverly, of Santa Clarita, Calif.; mother-in-law, Alice Pace of Canoga Park, Calif.; brothers-in-law, Dan Johnson of Simi Valley, Calif., and Tommy Johnson of Canoga Park, Calif.; sister-in-law, Denise Hessing and husband, Steve, of Simi Valley, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jason Brookshire officiating. A celebration of life will follow the service at the home of Mr. Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association or the American Cancer Society.
