Edward Kostick Edward Kostick, 86, of Keswick, Virginia, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Edward was born in Clifton, New Jersey, on April 7, 1926, to Anna and Stephen Kostick.
He was predeceased by his parents; and sisters, Anne Briggs and Mary Beresky.
Ed is survived by his wife, Ann, of 48 years; daughter, Karen and her husband, Steve, and grandchildren, Kristina and Sebastian of Walnut Creek, California; daughter, Carol and her fiance, L. Virgil Schenck IV, of Winter Park, Florida; sister, Julia Piechota; sister, Elsey Patterson; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
A graduate of Clifton High School and Bowling Green State University, Ed served in the United States Navy. After 25 years with The Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, New Jersey, Ed retired in 1980.
Ed and Ann raised their daughters in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and enjoyed visiting the Jersey shore, Hilton Head Island, Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, Bermuda and the Bahamas. They also lived for several years near Charleston, South Carolina, where they walked the beach most days. He enjoyed attending New York Giants games, dating back to their days at the Polo Grounds. Ed and Ann enjoyed dining out and attending shows in New York City, listening to big bands and Frank Sinatra and non-stop laughter with their friends.
Ed was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
