After Gladys' passing in 1998, Henry remained at the home until his health did not allow him to live alone, and he moved to his daughter's home. Henry was a member of the Thomas N. Davis Lodge No. 351, Varina Lodge No. 272, and Montrose Chapter No. 176, O.E.S. Henry served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was a proud member of the American Legion.
