THADDEUS CORALUS NAQUIN Obituary


NAQUIN, Thaddeus "Ted" Coralus Jr., 92, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Waller Naquin; and his half brother, Thomas C. Naquin of Elkhart, Indiana. Ted is survived by son, Robert Michael Naquin (Valerie); daughters, Linda Naquin Mason (Mike) and Susan Naquin Garling (Doug); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He retired from the Department of Defense with 30 years of service. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. Ted was a devoted family man and loved flying, fishing woodworking and travel, and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 21 at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 22. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
