"Fond memories of the years at Songadeewin of Keewaydin. Dick's dining room table was always the most fun. He was great leader on many canoe trips teaching us how to survive in the wild. He was a fierce competitor during camper/staff field hockey games each year. He always gave us a thrill while driving the speed boat for our water skiing pleasure on Lake Willoughby. Finally, he was a most authentic Indian during our camp rituals, especially at the cove. Thanks for all those great years that will live in our memories always."

"I was blessed to spend a weekend with Dick and his wife,Mari in 1988.I stayed at their house and got to talk basketball with Dick.He invited us as his guest to a Pacer game.I even remember that their Irish Setter's dog was named Penny.Dick,you will be missed,RIP.My sincere condolences to Mari.
