"I first met tom in 1984. The waltham Massachusetts police department held a celebrity golf tournament every summer to raise money for cystic fibrosis. I am a police officer with the waltham police department.Tom and Caroline attended a couple of these events. I was in tom's foursome and was his driver for 2 years. What an honor it was to get to know tom. I have a picture with tom and I that I keep behind my bar at home that I will always treasure. I will never forget those 2 years with tom. Caroline I am so sorry on the passing of tom. Hopefully we will see each other again for another round of golf."

"I have known Tom and his wife Caroline for many years. My dear husband Frank OHara played basketball with Tom at Lasalle High School when they won the city championship beating Overbrook HS in 1950 and four years later at Lasalle College when frank and Tom were co captains and won the NCAA championship in 1954 beating Bradley Univ. Frank received an academic scholarship to Villanova Law School and he and Tom sustained a long friendship over the years until Frank died at 64 of Primary Progressive Aphasia, a very strange illness. I have always kept in touch with Caroline since Tom's unfortunate accident,10 years ago, like many of us have but my thoughts and prayers are with her now. She deserves a rest after her long long ordeal. Jean M. OHara"

"We grew up together in Olney. The Gola family and the
Dieter family. Backyards back to back. Best neighbors ever. We will all meet again someday. Till then, may you rest in peace."
