Konrad Reuland, a former NFL player with the New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, and Baltimore Ravens, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, according to multiple news sources. He was 29.

Reuland had surgery late last month for a brain aneurysm.

A 6-foot-5 tight end, Reuland signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2011 after playing football at the University of Notre Dame and later Stanford University. The following year, the Jets claimed Reuland off waivers, but he was sidelined with a knee injury in November 2013.
