Patrick Air Force Base, in operation since 1950, is part of Air Force Space Command and controls the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and the Eastern Range. Located in Brevard County, Florida, the base has more than 13,000 employees and residents, including military, dependents, civilians and contractors. This memorial site is dedicated to all who have served, worked or lived at Patrick Air Force Base.

Herman C. White, age 66, of Memphis Tennessee, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday May 10, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Herman was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee to Richard and Ozzie Mae White. Herman enlisted in the USAF in 1969 as an AC-130 Gunship crew chief. A veteran of both Vietnam, and Operation Desert Storm, he served faithfully and proudly with Air Force Special Operations where his actions directly contributed to the saving of many allied lives....
