Everette Felts Obituary

FELTS, Everette A., 75, of Sandston, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2012. He was preceded in death by his son, Everette A. Felts II; parents, Ryland and Hazel Felts; brothers, Alfred, Wesley and Montie Felts. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Marie Naumann Felts; son, Nolan R. Felts (Kelly); three grandchildren, Cameron, Abby and Evie; sister, Barbara Graves (Stephen); brothers, Stanley Felts (Barbara), Mitchell Felts (Carolyn), and Phillip Felts (Bettie Lou); and several nieces and nephews. Everette was an attorney and practiced law in Eastern Henrico for 42 years. He was active in the JC Club, a past member of the Sandston Rotary Club and former member of New Bridge Baptist Church. He's currently an active member of Fairmount Christian Church. Everette also served on the Board of Henrico Volunteer Rescue Squad and had a great love for deep sea fishing in Nags Head. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Fairmount Christian Church, 6502 Creighton Road, Mechanicsville, Va. 23111. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairmount Christian Church.
