Lindsay Tucker Obituary

Lindsay Swann Tucker Lindsay Swann Tucker, 79, of Lee Avenue, Orange, died on Monday, May 13, 2013, at the Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. Lindsay was a member of the Orange Rotary Club, co chairman of the American Cancer Society, Orange County Jaycees, past member of the advisory board of the Orange office of the Virginia Community Bank, a member of North Pamunkey Baptist Church and he was the owner of Lindsay Tucker real estate. Mr. Tucker was preceeded in death by his parents, William Edward and Clara Lillian Lindsay Tucker; sisters, Christobel T. Vick, Alice T. Smallwood and Mary T. Evans; and brothers, W. Paul Tucker and Calvin E. Tucker. He is survived by a brother, Everette L. Tucker Sr. and wife, Barbara, of Nasons, Virginia; sister-in-laws, Eloise Tucker of Orange, Virginia, Virginia G. Tucker of Richmond, Virginia; cousins, Douglas Bowman, Sandra L. Wilkins, Joseph Laciny, Betty Jean Eheart, Mary Lindsay Kirby, Geraldine Lohr, and Shirley L. Salo; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with interment to follow in Walkers United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Allen Follett will officiate. The family will recieve friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at the funeral home. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange, is in charge of arrangements.
