"I remember the first show I saw James Farentino in.It was The Bold Ones. I don't recall seeing him again until he appeared in Dynasty. I instantly remembered him from The Bold Ones, roughly ten years earlier. I really liked him. Besides being handsome he was avery good actor. And he was versatile too. What I didn't like was the way his character left Dynasty, never to be heard of again. "Dr. Nicholas Toscanni" left "Blake Carrington" to die on a cliff in the episode "The Cliff" and that was all that was written. I really wish they had played that out to a better conclusion. All in all he is at peace now. May God rest his soul."

"I was visiting the Century City gym and racquetball courts in 1972, and James, not even knowing me, asked me to play a game of racquetball. I did beat him, and we talked in the steam room after the game. Also there that day was Carl Reiner. They both seemed like good people."
