DAISY E. BREATHWAITE Obituary


BREATHWAITE, Daisy E., 77, passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2013. She was born in South Boston, Virginia, and moved to Norfolk at an early age. For over 35 years, she dedicated her life to teaching children. She began as a pre-school teacher at St. Paul Kindergarten and eventually became the Director of St. Mark Pre-K, retiring in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Breathwaite. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Bryant M. Lomba Jr., (Carla), Marvin R. Lomba (Beverly), Maurice A. Lomba (Shirley); daughter, Dawn B. Barber (Roger); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Keith Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Norfolk, Va. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
