Texas A&M Memorial Site: Notable Deaths & Obituaries

Texas A&M has a student body of 48,000 and boasts one of the largest campuses in the United States. Among its alumni are NFL players, astronauts and foreign heads of state, and more commissioned officers in the U.S. Armed Forces come from Texas A&M than from any other non-military school in the country. This memorial site is dedicated to all the Aggies who've helped make TAMU the great institution it is today.

Mary Cravens Casey of Commerce passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 in McKinney, Texas following an illness. Mary was born on June 20, 1928 to Brooksey and Charley Cravens in the Mount Zion community. She attended school at Branom and graduated from Commerce High School. In 1950 she graduated from East Texas State Teachers College (Texas A&M University Commerce) with a Bachelors degree and later a Masters. She married Leland Casey on January 25, 1946 and they had one daughter, Judy Hadaway....
