Jeffrey Ryan Messec Obituary

Jeffrey Ryan Messec, 35, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. A private service will be held.

Jeffrey attended Vanguard High School. He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology from Texas A&M University where he made many lifelong friends. After graduation from Texas A&M, Jeffrey was employed by a major corporation in their call center where he steadily worked his way up to the position of Operations Director. After Jeffrey was diagnosed with MS in his early twenties, he struggled with MS for the remainder of his life. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Melba Faye Messec; and his maternal grandparents, Ed and Kathleen Bolfing.

Jeff is survived by his father, Jim Messec and wife, Linda, from Maumelle Ark.; his mother, Kay Cooper from Waco; his grandfather, James A. Messec of Robinson; two step-brothers, Chuck Vereen of North Little Rock, Ark., and Chris Vereen of Hot Springs, Ark. and his wife, Angela; and a niece and three nephews. Jeffrey had a large extended family that included many aunts, uncles and cousins.

His father wants to thank everyone for their assistance during this difficult time.
