Guest Book Highlights

December 07, 2016 "To the family,
I send my condolences. May God give you peace as you cope with your loss." - MA
November 12, 2016 "One reason that it's so hard to accept Tom Hayden's passing is that for 50-plus years he has been the point of reference for progressives: kind of our North Star. Whatever work you were doing, checking into Tom's latest book or his blog gave you a good idea of what progressives should be thinking about next.

Tom, it was a privilege it was to work with you." - Anne Gallivan (Rockville, MD)
November 07, 2016 "Tom was one of the most dedicated progressive activists. I was honored to know him. Tom spoke at our Activist Support Circle just a few months before his passing. It was truly a most inspirational and educational talk. Needless to say, the house was full.

I share the same name as the late 1960's activist Jerry Rubin and the same December 11 birthday as Tom. I was a late comer to activism (1979), but as they say better late than never.

Tom's wisdom, ongoing supportive activism and kindness should always be reflected on and remembered.

My deepest condolences to Tom's family and his many, many friends!" - Jerry Rubin (Santa Monica, CA)
November 04, 2016 "One of the greats that moved our country forward and advocated change. Cheryl, Kent State University. Blessings to you and your family Tom." - Cheryl Chlysta (Ravenna, OH)
October 31, 2016 "Dear Friends,
We have received the painful news that Tom Hayden passed away. The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) extends our deepest and heartfelt condolence to his family and friends. Tom was an anti-war activist and a valuable friend in the campaign for the release of the Cuban Five during those cruel moments of injustice. We will never forget his participation at "5 Days or the Cuban 5" in Washington DC". He contributed to spread the truth on Cuba by writing the book Listen, Yankee! where he showed his unique position towards the radical transformation taking place in our country. We know our friends in the US will deeply mourn his loss. On this sad occasion, all the thoughts and sympathies are with their loved ones. In solidarity, Kania Serrano Puig, President" - Alicia Jrapko (Oakland, CA)
