Roger DeHart Farrow Obituary


Farrow, Roger DeHart, 82, passed away on May 3, 2014 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born in Evansville, IN on January 20, 1932, to Chester and Frances (DeHart) Farrow. Roger was raised in Wichita and graduated from Wichita East High School. He attended the University of Kansas before obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree from U.C.L.A. He returned to Wichita and joined his father's accounting firm, Farrow, Stone, and Blubaugh as a C.P.A. He married Nancy Joan Baldwin on May 19, 1962 and they had two sons, Jeff and Buff. He practiced for 35 years, ending his accounting career with Baird, Kurtz, and Dobson. He founded the Omni Business Centers in 1986, which he led until his passing. A true gentleman until the end, Roger had a combination of class and humor that all around him loved and cherished. He was preceded in death by his parents. Roger is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy; children, Jeffrey R. (Elena) and Buff R.; grandchildren, Palmer, Colt, and Cayman. His family will dearly miss "Papa's" warmth and guidance. Memorial Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 6th, at East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas. Memorials have been established with the Kansas Humane Society and Botanica.
