NOE, John William, of Midlothian, Virginia, passed away on April 24, 2013, at the age of 90. He was born in Cornwall on Hudson, New York, the son of Clinton Francis Noe and Mabel Oldbury Noe. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa, and an officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II, serving in the Pacific. He worked as a chemical and mechanical engineer, becoming a world-renowned expert in heat exchanger design. He founded his own company, B-JAC International Inc., which for 20 years, had its headquarters in Midlothian. He was an avid athlete throughout his life, enjoying golf and tennis while living in Brandermill. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Beatrice Rolfe Noe. He is survived by his two sons, Bruce and Chip; and his granddaughter, Amanda. There will be a memorial service honoring his life at the Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road in Chesterfield, Virginia at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013.
