You brought so many smiles to my face over the past 20 years.
I can hear your fireworks as they take you home. Your Elk's bugle salute to you is beautiful."

"Thinking of Tom Keith passing over and his many gifts as Jim Ed, also of David Keith, Tom's brother whom I met when he worked in a family systems counseling practice reflecting the work of The Family Crucible, a book written by a family systems teacher from Madison Wisconsin. Wondered what ever become of David who I think moved to New York State."

"Oh my I just found out.......how sad......
My strongest memories are of Jim Ed Poole. The wry self effacing wit, the great songs, the sports. His legacy of humor will linger a long time here. My condolences to his family, I am so sorry. The radio waves are a little less rich, a little less funny......."

"To Tom's Dear Ones,
I just want to join the chorus and express my sorrow and condolences to all who knew Tom and loved him dearly, especially Tom's wife and family, his coworkers, chums, and neighbors. Hearing everyone speak so lovingly of Tom over this past week gives me more insight into his character and a deeper sense of the loss experienced by Tom's death. He has been an inspiration and a pure joy to so many of us. May we somehow learn a bit from his golden example, carry on his joyful light, and enjoy how he changed us for good."

"As a former MPR employee in the 80's as well as an usher at APHC, I have many fond memories of working with Tom. He was a kind, generous man with a great sense of humor. I would watch in awe while he worked his magic on stage. My heart goes out to his family."
