Watson-Ohrn, Barbara J. age 84 of Eden Prairie and Hayward, WI, was born June 13, 1928 to Dr. Harold and Myrtle Bakke, passed away on March 8, 2013. Barbara was full of life and laughter. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, sunshine smile, candlelight dinners, great-parties, design sense and love of shopping. She collected sayings, here's one from the kitchen, "We do not stop laughing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop laughing." Barbara attended Washburn High School and the University of Minnesota. She owned Interior Designs of Edina, where she worked with her sister, Ginny and her daughters, Jill and Susie. Barb will be missed by her loving family and friends, Ralph Ohrn, husband for 24 years; 3 daughters, Linda (John) Wilson, Jill Watson, and Susie (Jack) Goldthwaite; step children, Steve (Deb) Ohrn and Kris Greenberg; 12 grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren; sister, Ginny Fraser; and best friends, Ace Palm and Patty Carlyle. Barb was preceded in death by Jack Watson husband of 36 years; parents, Dr. Harold and Myrtle Bakke; sister, Verle Leghty and brother, Hal Bakke. Memorials to donor's choice or the Salvation Army.
