Daniel W. Wray Obituary

Wray Daniel W. Wray, age 53, passed away on Sept. 23, 2005. Born in Minneapolis, Dan was an honors graduate of Edina High School and the University of Minnesota. A CPA, he worked for several of the Big Eight accounting firms. He was an avid hunter, scuba diver, sailor and boat builder. His 32' boat, Excalibur, was moored on Lake Superior for many years after he sailed it down the Mississippi and throughout the Caribbean. In recent years, Dan had turned his lifelong interest in sports cars into a cottage business in which he designed and built custom accessory kits for Porsches. Dan is survived by his parents, Donald and Leona Wray, brother Charlie (Debbie) Wray, sister Betsy Wray, and nieces and nephews Amanda, David, Michael and Melissa Wray. Memorial service Saturday, Oct. 8, 1 p.m., at Lake Harriet Christian Church, 5009 Beard Ave. S., Minneapolis.
